Project overview

The revitalisation of the Gosford Central Business District (CBD) is backed by A$42 million State Government funding to upgrade vital infrastructure in the City Centre, unlocking new and exciting development opportunities.

These works will also be supported by significant public domain upgrades with further funding of $A10 million for a major regional playground currently under construction in the waterfront parklands.

Competitive advantages

Learn more about the Gosford Central Business District project:

  • Gosford CBD is already undergoing significant redevelopment especially with the addition of high-rise residential development with incorporated office and retail use. The provision of this infrastructure will unlock additional key infill development sites which will bring much needed housing supply to the region.
  • These new developments will revitalise Gosford to become a more vibrant, liveable city and attract new businesses, jobs, and promote recreational and cultural activities within the City Centre.
  • The additional housing will provide for the Central Coast’s growing workforce in the region’s key specialisations, including healthcare (particularly aged care residential services), tourism, manufacturing (particularly food product manufacturing) and mining (particularly coal mining).

Project timeline

The project commenced in 2019 with commercial office and retail space available now.
