Project overview

The Mount Penang Business Park will capitalise on its strategic location between Sydney and Newcastle to provide great access to major metropolitan areas.

The State Government has committed A$16 million for works including road upgrades, sewer and water infrastructure, commuter and event parking, and stormwater management.

Competitive advantages

Learn more about the Mt Penang Business Park project:

  • The creation of the employment precinct will drive the creation of over 3,000 ongoing jobs and approximately A$200 million in private sector business turnover.
  • Development of employment lands will facilitate the creation of advanced manufacturing industries, support existing business development, as well as provide for educational and training facilities.
  • The investment delivers new and improved accesses to two justice facilities and two schools; the potential for expansion of the very successful National Aboriginal Islander Skills Development Association and will allow the Mt Penang Gardens and Festival space to attract more cultural and community events to the Central Coast region.
