The Coffs Harbour foreshore precinct, located in the North Coast region, offers opportunity for positive land activation.

The Coffs Harbour foreshore precinct contains several areas of land that are owned by the NSW government with potential for positive development and activation to create a thriving new area within the city and region.

The foreshore is located to the east of the Coffs Harbour CBD and immediately east of the railway line. It is bordered to the north by the boat harbour, and to the south by Corambirra Point and a southern break wall.

The vision for the foreshore precinct is “a precinct that offers improved connectivity, quality public domain and increased economic activity in the form of investment, housing and job creation”.

The NSW government will develop a master plan for the foreshore in consultation with the community and other key stakeholders, and then consider how the government land is best repurposed and managed to achieve the master plan outcomes.

The masterplan process will help shape and create a vision for the Coffs Harbour foreshore area and put in place development controls to achieve strategic and cohesive development.

Being located half way between Sydney and Brisbane, Coffs Harbour is strategically located with comprehensive air, road and rail connections to major cities, solid and growing health and education opportunities, and growth in local employment.
